DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN KIGALI
Arrival in Kigali (Time TBA). On arrival at Kigali International Airport, You will be welcomed by your driver guide and company representative, who will meet you in the airport lobby. You will then be transferred to The Retreat by Heaven which is 20 minutes away from the airport.

DAY 2: HISTORICAL KIGALI
After a morning breakfast at your hotel, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you back to Kigali for a guided city tour in the vibrant capital of Kigali where you visit interesting historical sites. Learn more about Rwanda’s heart-rending history at the Genocide Memorial Centre where 259,000 bodies of genocide victims were given a descent burial. After the visit, you will then be driven for lunch at Hotel des Mille Collines also known as Hotel Rwanda then spend you evening at leisure.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park(3hrs drive). Check in at the lodge and have lunch.

DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING EXPERIENCE
The highlight of your trip is a meeting with the gentle giants of Volcanoes National Park! All visitors most especially hikers love this challenging rugged steep slopes of gorilla trekking in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest you take photographs and videos. A unique and unforgettable experience! For conservation purposes, time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour. The ranger guide always briefs you on how to behave with these giant apes then later return to the Lodge for lunch. In the evening, spend your day at leisure.

DAY 5: GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING EXPERIENCE
After trekking, you will be transferred to the Lodge to freshen and have lunch thenthen go to iby’iwacu cultural village for cultural experiences.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Nyungwe National Park enjoying the scenic drive
One and only Nyungwe is a paradise situated in the mountains of Rwanda with unbelievable beauty, competent and wonderful staff on site that exceed your high expectations. It is a five hours drive from Kigali by car and located in the middle of unbelievably beautiful nature with wooden houses integrated into the landscape baring a beautiful African design and luxurious furnishings.

DAY 7: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING & CANOPY WALK
Depart your hotel with packed breakfast to experience the misty rain forest of Nyungwe prominently known for having 13 species of primates including the famous chimpanzees that you all anxiously interested in today, and also as a birders paradise. Drive for one hour to Cyamudongo, the park office for a briefing before you undertake on the chimpanzee trekking activity, after an interesting and memorable search for the chimpanzees in the forest, you are privileged to spend 1 hour with them taking photographs and videos and return to the Lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, prepare yourself to for a canopy hike which gives you a panoramic view of the forest a glimpse of birds and then return in the evening for Dinner & Overnight stay

DAY 8: TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
After your morning breakfast, you will have a morning at relaxation. You will then have lunch and be transferred back to Kigali. The Retreat by Heaven (FB).
DAY 9: DAY OF RELAXATION
After your morning, you will spend your day on your own at leisure enjoying the hotel amenities

DAY 10: AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
After your morning breakfast, you will be picked up and be transferred Akagera national park, this takes about 2.5 hours. Passing through the beautiful terraced landscape giving you a panoramic view en route to the park, you are privileged to request the driver to pullover and take exceptional shots of photographs. On arrival at the park, you proceed to your accommodation after a short game drive and check in for a welcoming lunch. Later in the afternoon, you head for a boat trip on Lake Ihema where you have a glimpse of Hippos and crocodiles, buffalos and elephants by the shores and a number of birds including the rare and vulnerable shoebill, papyrus gonolek to mention but a few. Akagera Game Lodge stands on a hill at the southern tip of the Akagera National Park elevated above the savannah with exceptional views of the Lake Ihema.

DAY 11: GAME DRIVE EXPERIENCE
After an early morning breakfast at 6:00, depart with your packed lunch boxes then head for the early morning game drive in Akagera national park to catch up with late hunters and early risers. Your guide will help you search and spot the big mammals like Elephants, Giraffes, Buffaloes, also Lions and Rhino that were recently re-introduced. Several Antelopes, Kobs, Zebras, Bushbucks. You will be in position to spot as many birds as possible for it is a birding paradise. You will then have a stopover at the pic nic area then you will be transferred back to Kigali later on.
DAY 12: DEPART RWANDA
Morning breakfast. Airport transfer.
Depart Rwanda (Time TBA).
