Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival – Kigali City Tour

As you take off for Rwanda, a nation covered in thousands of hills, your fantastic vacation officially begins. Our corporate representative will greet you at Kigali International Airport and arrange for a transfer to your hotel. Depending on when you arrive, you can take a city tour that includes stops to the ancient city of Kigali and the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. Spend the night and have dinner at the Accord Hotel, a budget hotel, or the Serena Hotel, a high-end establishment.

Day 2: Kigali to Akagera National Park

Following breakfast, you go to the breathtaking Akagera National Park, which is made up of a mixture of woodland, savannah grassland, and wetlands. Park geography indicates that it is lower in elevation than the rest of the nation, which translates to milder and drier conditions. Along with an abundance of birds, you may witness wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, and elephants here. With any luck, we might be able to see the Shoebill Stork, especially along the lakeshore. Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

Take a boat ride on Lake Ihema early in the morning at 8:00 a.m. to observe hippos and crocodiles. Enjoy the winding roads and landscapes as we travel north from Akagera National Park to Volcanoes National Park. Overnight and dinner at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (High end), La Palme (Midrange hotel) or Muhabura hotel (Budget facility).

Day 4: Climbing the Volcano Bisoke.

The park ranger at RDB Office will give you a briefing early in the morning. Begin your ascent to the summit of Bisoke Volcano, where you may admire the stunning Crater Lake before returning to Musanze. Overnight and dinner Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (High end), Le Palme Hotel (Midrange hotel) or Muhabura hotel (Budget facility).

Day 5: Cultural Community Expedition.

After breakfast in the morning, go to the Iby’Iwacu cultural hamlet to witness the making of banana beer. There, you may take in a variety of performances and learn more about this distinctive culture. You will be taken to Kivu Lake in the afternoon to unwind at the beach. Overnight and dinner Serena Hotel (High end), Lake Kivu Waterfront Resort (Midrange Hotel) or Discover Hostel, Gisenyi (Budget facility).

Day 6: Transfer to Kigali and Departure.

After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Kivu to the different islands on the lake and later embark on a transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
