Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Kigali International Airport.
On arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be received by one of our tour guide who will transfer you to the hotel for overnight. Bed and breakfast
Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Our business tour guide will pick you up in the early morning and take you on a city tour of Kigali, stopping at local markets, art and craft stores, and the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. Following the city tour, continue on to Volcanoes National Park, where you will drive through breathtaking countryside and the home of the mountain gorillas. Once you get near Volcanoes, proceed to your overnight accommodation at either the Fatima Hotel (a budget option) or the Gorilla Volcanoes Hotel (a midrange facility).
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking.
You will transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch in hand after an early breakfast so that you may receive a briefing regarding the rules of behaviour while interacting with the gorillas. The next step will be to head into the forest to find the Golden Monkeys. After returning to your accommodation, spend the night in the nearby village community.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience.
After eating breakfast early in the morning, head to the park headquarters to go on a mountain gorilla walk. You’ll receive instructions on how to track the gorillas. After you’ve found the gorillas, you have up to an hour to spend taking pictures and observing them.
Day 5 Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
After breakfast in the morning, go boating and make your way to Nyungwe National Park. Your drive to Nyungwe will be picturesque. Get there in time for lunch, then spend the day lounging at the Lodge’s amenities and participating in the tea ceremony in the evening. One of Rwanda’s many ecosystems, Nyungwe Forest National Park is situated in the southwest and is home to several kinds of primates.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking – Canopy Walk Experience.
Take off with a packed breakfast, head to the Cyamudongo Forest at five in the morning, go chimpanzee trekking, return for lunch at the lodge, and then enjoy the most amazing adventures of your life a canopy walk in the afternoon. One of Rwanda’s many ecosystems, Nyungwe Forest National Park is situated in the southwest and is home to several kinds of primates. This forest is home to a range of primates, including chimpanzees and a variety of monkeys, including baboons, l’hoest monkeys, colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and velvet monkeys.
Day 7: Experience Pre-colonial Rwanda.
After an early breakfast and checkout, go to Nyamagabe to see the Kibeho Holly Spirit. From there, visit the ethnographic and royal palace museums in Butare before taking a car to Kigali. Examine the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre before to being relocated to Kigali.
Day 8: Transfer to Akagera National Park.
You will depart for the Akagera National Park early in the morning after breakfast. Once there, you will take pleasure in an afternoon boat ride on Lake Ihema, which will reward you with views of numerous hippos, enormous Nile crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
Day 9: Game Drive Experience.
You are going to go on your game drive after breakfast in the morning. One of East Africa’s most picturesque savannahs is Akagera. You will travel up the lakes road towards Birengero and the Giraffe area in the south. Among many other animals, Akagera National Park is home to antelope, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and elephants. Make a halt at the picnic spot to eat a packed lunch. Afterwards, make your way to Kigali, where you will spend the night.
Day 10: Airport Transfer.
After breakfast, basing on the time of your flight, you may enjoy a city tour prior to departing. After this you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
