Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or any other Kampala residence to begin our 4-day gorilla trekking and Uganda safari tour. He or she will then give you an overview of the safari itinerary. After that, travel to the southwest of the nation, stopping along the way to take pictures and conduct experiments. Next, drive to Mbarara and have lunch at the Agip Motel before continuing on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to mountain gorillas. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Start your day off right with a packed lunch and an early breakfast. Your driving guide will then take you to the starting location so they can give you a briefing. After receiving a guide to help you follow gorillas, you can start your expedition. Depending on how these gentle giants move, the time required and the terrain can vary from one to eight hours. The excitement of finally meeting in person eases the agony of an occasionally difficult and drawn-out journey. Though every encounter is unique and has its own rewards, you can probably expect to see the adults grooming, feeding, and resting up close while the children playfully romp and swing from vines. You have the option of continuing to unwind at the lodge or going on a stroll around the Batwa community in the evening, which will allow you to meet the locals, discover how they live, and see them perform traditional music and dances. Go back to the lodge. Have Dinner and stay overnight at; Buhoma Gorilla Havens Lodge, Trekkers Tavern Lodge or Mahogany Springs.
Day 3: Transfer to Ishasha in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Head for the Ishasha sector, the southern portion of Queen Elizabeth National Park, after an early breakfast. This area is one of Uganda’s greatest riches and has been recognised by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity. It shares boundaries with Kazinga Channel, Lake George, and Lake Edward in the western portion of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After driving through the Ishasha area in quest of the lion tree climbing, you will check into the lodge. Take a two-hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel after lunch. This canal, which links Lakes Edward and George, is teeming with buffalo and elephants along its banks, as well as schools of hippos. Elephants, lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, stripped jackals, and several warthogs are among the animals you could encounter while on the grazing grounds. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking – Departure
Head to Kyambura Gorge after breakfast for a nature walk through an underground forest where you can see monkeys, baboons, chimpanzees, and many other primates. You will observe many tree species here that provide food for forest elephants. After that, have a lunch break while travelling through the Maramagambo forest on your way back to Kampala, stopping along the way to observe various wildlife. After arriving in Kampala in the late afternoon, you will head to the airport to board your journey home.
